Lahore: The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) has announced a strategic reorganization of its leadership in Punjab by dividing the province into four zones. Abdul Aleem Khan, the party’s South Punjab and Central President, has appointed new Presidents and General Secretaries for the Western and Northern zones, as part of efforts to enhance the party’s presence across the region.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, MNA Gul Asghar Baghor has been named President of IPP North Punjab, while former Provincial Minister Chaudhry Zaheeruddin will lead as President of Western Punjab. Mian Farrukh Manika will serve as the General Secretary of Western Punjab, and Mian Junaid Zulfiqar has been appointed Vice President of IPP Punjab.
The newly appointed officials met with Party President Abdul Aleem Khan. Khan emphasized the importance of organizing the party at the district level, highlighting the need to communicate the party’s mission of prosperity, development, and peace. He stated that the focus should be on public service without discrimination, supporting the current government in both the Federal and Punjab levels.
Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his commitment to continuing the journey of public service, aiming to strengthen the country’s economy and elevate it to the ranks of developed nations. The appointees, including Gul Asghar Baghor, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Mian Farrukh Manika, and Mian Junaid Zulfiqar, received their official notifications at the Party Secretariat.
The announcement was followed by meetings with various party figures and delegations, including members of the Istehkam Students Federation Punjab, who gathered to discuss the party’s strategies moving forward. The meeting, held at the IPP Punjab Secretariat, was attended by central party leaders who congratulated Abdul Aleem Khan on his first year in government and his ministerial achievements.
