IST’s Students Win Asia-Pacific Google Solution Challenge

Manila: A group of Pakistani students have won this year’s Asia-Pacific Google Solution Challenge. The contest was hosted in Manila, Philippines, in partnership with the Asian Development Bank and Hack2skill.

According to Radio Pakistan, the winning team triumphed in the category for Best AI Use Case for their project, GeoGemma. The winning GeoGemma participants are students of Islamabad’s Institute of Space Technology (IST) from the departments of computer science and space science.
