IT Sector on Path of Progress with 20% Growth: Shaza

Karachi: Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced that the IT sector is experiencing a steady annual growth rate of twenty percent.

According to Radio Pakistan, during her address at the inauguration ceremony of ITCN Asia-2025 in Karachi, Shaza Fatima Khawaja emphasized the government’s dedication to enhancing IT skills among the youth. She stated that the government aims to equip one million young individuals with IT skills this year.

In her speech, she also mentioned that the government is prioritizing the resolution of IT and internet-related issues. Efforts are underway to ensure 5G access across all regions of the country, underscoring the administration’s commitment to technological advancement and connectivity.
