IT Sector’s Role in National Progress Highlighted by Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja has stated that the IT sector is playing an effective role in the country’s progress. Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, she highlighted the significance of collective efforts to ensure resilience against the threat of climate change.

According to Radio Pakistan, Shaza Fatima Khawaja discussed the ongoing digitization process within the country, emphasizing the government’s plans to introduce digitization in the agriculture sector. This initiative aims to develop precise strategies and enable informed decision-making.

Additionally, Shaza Fatima Khawaja announced the upcoming “Smart Phone for All” policy. This policy is designed to make smart phones affordable for every individual through easy installment plans, reflecting the government’s commitment to expanding digital accessibility.
