Janana De Malucho Textile Mills Advances AGM Plans with Postal Ballot Publication

Karachi: Janana De Malucho Textile Mills Limited has taken a significant step towards its Annual General Meeting (AGM) slated for October 26, 2024, by publishing the postal ballot paper on October 18, 2024. This publication is part of the preparations for the AGM, where shareholders will decide on crucial corporate matters. The ballot paper, made available in both Urdu and English, aims to facilitate wider participation by allowing shareholders to vote on various agenda items remotely.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the postal ballot is an essential component of the company’s governance, ensuring that all shareholders have the opportunity to partake in the decision-making process, regardless of their physical ability to attend the meeting in person. The ballots were published in “Daily The Nation” in English and “Roznama Nawa-i-Waqt” in Urdu, and are also accessible on the company’s website.

The AGM will be conducted at the company’s registered office in Habibabad, Kohat, with an option for shareholders to join via video link, underscoring the company’s commitment to inclusivity and technological integration in corporate governance.

This proactive approach in disseminating voting materials underscores Janana De Malucho Textile Mills’ adherence to the Companies (Postal Ballot) Regulations, 2018, fostering a transparent and inclusive voting environment for all stakeholders involved.
