Jhal Magsi Initiates Free Mobile Veterinary Services to Aid Flood-Affected Regions

Jhal Magsi: Following the directives of Deputy Commissioner Syed Rehmatullah Shah, the Livestock Department in Jhal Magsi has launched a vaccination campaign for both small and large animals in the areas of Nowshera, Mut Sindhar, and Kot Magsi. This initiative, supervised by Deputy Director (Livestock) Dr. Mansoor Ahmed Tareen, aims to protect livestock from various diseases exacerbated by recent monsoon rains and floods.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the vaccination process is part of a broader effort to deploy free mobile veterinary campuses across the district. These campuses are equipped to provide necessary vaccines and medicines to prevent diseases that could impact the breeding and overall health of the animals. Deputy Commissioner Syed Rahmatullah Shah emphasized the importance of these services as the district’s economy heavily relies on livestock herding. He urged affluent community members to utilize these free services to safeguard their livestock, which is integral to their livelihood.

The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural backbone of Jhal Magsi, particularly in the wake of environmental challenges that have the potential to devastate local economies and communities.
