Jirga of Tribal Elders Held in North Waziristan Praised for Peace Efforts

North Waziristan: A jirga of tribal elders was held in North Waziristan under the auspices of Pakistan Army. General Officer Commanding, Major General Adil Iftikhar praised the efforts of the local elders for peace and stability in North Waziristan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the participants emphasized the importance of coordination between security forces and the public, as well as the role of tribal elders. The tribal elders commended Pakistan Army’s role for various development projects and promotion of education.

They assured full cooperation to the security forces in complete elimination of Fitnah al Khwarij.
