JKLF condemns detention of Yasin Malik, others

Srinagar, June 29, 2014 (PPI-OT): In occupied Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has condemned the continued detention of its Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and other party leaders and activists. Muhammad Yasin Malik, who was arrested by police on June 23 along with many other party leaders and activists continues to remain in illegal detention.

A JKLF spokesman in a statement said, “Jails and torture centers are not new for JKLF leaders and activists and these things are linked to freedom movements and resistance.” He said that arrests would never succeed in defeating freedom sentiments. “They only strengthen our will,” he added.
