JS Bank and Instant Cash Roll Out Pakistan’s First Door-to-Door Remittance Service

Karachi: JS Bank has partnered with Instant Cash to introduce Pakistan’s first door-to-door remittance service, JS GharPay. The service allows recipients to receive funds directly at their homes, eliminating the need for visits to bank branches or agent locations.

This initiative aims to address challenges faced by beneficiaries, particularly in remote areas, by providing a convenient and secure way to receive remittances. The service is free of charge and intends to save time and reduce transportation costs for users.

The launch event was attended by key leaders from JS Bank and Instant Cash, including Basir Shamsie, President and CEO of JS Bank, and Usman Bin Raees, COO of Instant Cash. Mr. Shamsie emphasized the bank’s commitment to innovative solutions that cater to customer needs, particularly in areas with limited access to financial services.

Syed Jafar Raza of JS Bank highlighted the importance of the service for non-resident Pakistanis and their communities, calling it a necessary innovation for remittance beneficiaries. Usman Bin Raees of Instant Cash noted that this partnership enhances financial inclusion and promotes legal remittances through competitive exchange rates and home delivery convenience.

JS Bank plans to expand the JS GharPay service nationwide, furthering its focus on customer-centric solutions and financial inclusion. Instant Cash brings its expertise in cross-border payments to this collaboration, bolstering the service’s reliability and efficiency.
