KARACHI: Jubilee Spinning & Weaving Mills Limited has announced a major strategic shift with the proposed relocation of its registered office from Lahore to Karachi. The decision, made by the company’s board on October 3, 2024, aims to enhance administrative and financial control and facilitate better coordination of its operations.
Currently located at Lahore, the registered office will move to Karachi. This move, pending shareholder approval during the 51st Annual General Meeting scheduled for October 25, 2024, is poised to streamline operations by integrating the main office with the operational facilities in Karachi.
According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the management’s strategy is geared towards optimizing resource allocation and oversight across its operations. The relocation is part of Jubilee Spinning & Weaving Mills’ broader strategy to adapt to the changing dynamics of the textile industry and improve operational efficiencies.
The directors, including Mr. Shaukat Shafi (Chairman) and Mr. Shams Rafi (Chief Executive), have no direct or indirect interests in this move, ensuring alignment with corporate governance standards and shareholder interests.
