Justice Aminuddin Takes Oath as First Chief Justice of Federal Constitutional Court

Islamabad: The first-ever Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court, Justice Aminuddin Khan, took the oath of his office in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to the Chief Justice during a ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr. The event was attended by several high-profile figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. Other notable attendees included Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi.

Also present were Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, along with various federal ministers, members of the parliament, and other high-level authorities.
