Kashmir Black Day Event Held by Pakistan’s Embassy in France

Paris: The Embassy of Pakistan in France organized a special event to mark Kashmir Black Day, aimed at expressing solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). The gathering focused on the ongoing freedom movement of the Kashmiri people, who are seeking their right to self-determination as outlined in the UN Security Council resolutions.

According to Radio Pakistan, a documentary was screened during the event to highlight the struggles of the Kashmiri people and the actions of the Indian occupation forces in IIOJK. Prominent Kashmiris and representatives from civil society attended the event, condemning the human rights violations and breaches of international humanitarian law by Indian forces.

Participants at the event urged international human rights organizations and the media to bring attention to the human rights situation in IIOJK. They emphasized the need for full implementation of UN Security Council resolutions concerning Jammu and Kashmir.

Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch spoke at the event, outlining the history of India’s violations of international law and its disregard for the UN Charter and Security Council resolutions. She reaffirmed that the right of the Kashmiri people to self-determination is supported by international law and guaranteed by the Security Council’s resolutions.

The Ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continue providing political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people in their quest for self-determination.
