Islamabad: On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, Ms. Saba Sadiq, underscored the enduring struggle of the Kashmiri people and the urgency for global intervention. In her statement, she highlighted the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, calling for international solidarity and action.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Ms. Saba Sadiq remarked that Kashmir Solidarity Day serves as a poignant reminder of the Kashmiri people’s resilience and their long-standing demand for self-determination. She addressed severe human rights violations, including enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.

Ms. Saba Sadiq urged the international community to break their silence and address the ongoing crisis in the region. She stressed the need for global entities and human rights organizations to stand up against these violations.
