Srinagar: In a show of unity, Shia and Sunni communities in Kashmir gathered to pay tribute to Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on September 27 in Lebanon. The congregational Fateha was held in several locations, with the largest gathering taking place in Bemina.

According to Kashmir Media Service, participants hailed Nasrallah’s sacrifice for the oppressed, drawing parallels between his struggle and the challenges faced by Kashmiris. Speakers, including Islamic scholar Dr. Sameer Siddiqui, highlighted Nasrallah’s commitment to Muslim unity, while Maulana Masroor Abbas Ansari and Agha Ruhullah emphasized the global significance of his martyrdom for those fighting for justice and truth.
