Kharan Assistant Commissioner Highlights PPHI’s Role in Health Sector Improvements

Kharan: Assistant Commissioner Kharan Rizwan Qadir underscored the significant contributions of the People’s Primary Healthcare Initiative (PPHI) in enhancing the health services in Kharan District. He pointed out the distribution of medicines, establishment of telehealth centers, and improvements in labor rooms and laboratories as key measures taken to address the health needs in rural areas.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, “During a ceremony at the PPHI office in Kharan where medical supplies were provided to various Basic Health Units (BHUs), Assistant Commissioner Qadir emphasized PPHI’s dedication to expanding healthcare access in remote areas under the guidance of CEO Hameedullah Nasir.” He also highlighted the ongoing support from local leaders and health officials, including Provincial Minister of Finance and Minerals Mir Shoaib Noshirwani, Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmad Soomro, and District Health Officer Dr. Sher Ahmad Baloch, in pushing forward the health initiatives.
