Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for C and W directs officers to follow office timings

Peshawar, March 28, 2013 (PPI-OT): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for C and W, Transport, Auqaf and Hajj, Muhammad Ishaq Khattak has directed all the officers of his subordinate departments to strictly follow the office timings, attend the offices in the morning for routine work and then go to the sites for general inspection. He said this would improve the quality of work, coordinate the field and office working and its implementation.

These directives he issued in a letter to the administrative secretaries of his departments. Provincial Caretaker Minister regretted that quality of work in the government departments was poor and that must be improved.

Muhammad Ishaq Khattak said that salaries being received by government officers was public money and they should bring positive change in their behaviour, reach offices in time and show the nation that they would not shatter the confidence of the people and would use their utmost capabilities for the welfare of the people.

He termed the people as the best judge and said the steps taken by the government officers for the welfare of the people should be visible to the nation. He asked the concerned officers to pay surprise visits if and when needed.
