KIBOR Rates Show Stability Across Tenors

Karachi: The State Bank of Pakistan released the latest Karachi Interbank Offered Rate (KIBOR) figures, indicating stability in interest rates across different tenors. The data, published for April 24, 2025, reveals slight variations in the bid and offer rates for a range of borrowing periods.

For the 1-week tenor, the bid rate stands at 11.93 percent, with an offer rate of 12.43 percent. The 2-week period shows a bid of 11.89 percent and an offer of 12.39 percent. The 1-month tenor reveals a bid of 11.82 percent and an offer rate of 12.32 percent.

The 3-month period shows a bid rate of 11.85 percent, while the offer rate is 12.10 percent. Similarly, the 6-month tenor comes with a bid of 11.84 percent and an offer of 12.09 percent.

For the 9-month tenor, the bid rate is at 11.79 percent, with the offer rate at 12.29 percent. The 1-year tenor features a bid of 11.78 percent and an offer of 12.28 percent.

These figures reflect the current borrowing costs for financial institutions, providing essential insights into the economic environment and liquidity conditions in Pakistan.
