King of Jordan Receives Guard of Honour at Prime Minister House

Islamabad: The King of Jordan, King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, arrived at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad, where he was greeted by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the official welcoming ceremony, King Abdullah II was presented with a Guard of Honour by a contingent of the Pakistan Armed Forces. The ceremony also included the playing of national anthems of both Jordan and Pakistan.

In a traditional exchange, King Abdullah II introduced Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to his delegation. In response, Prime Minister Sharif introduced the King to his cabinet members. As part of the visit, King Abdullah II also planted a sapling in the grounds of the Prime Minister House.
