KP: 45 Killed in Rain Related Incidents Since 25th of Last Month

Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, forty-five people have been killed while one-hundred and six injured in rain related incidents since 25th of last month.

According to Radio Pakistan, the latest report of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the dead include 23 children, 17 men and five women, while the injured include 45 men, 16 women and 44 children.

The incidents that caused the loss include collapsing of roofs and walls in different districts of the province. So far, a total of four-hundred and forty-two houses have been damaged due to the rains. Rescue 1122, district administration and related departments are in contact with the affected families and relief activities are continuing in the affected areas.
