KP CM calls for promoting tourism as industry in province

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has emphasized the importance of promoting tourism as an industry to generate job opportunities for the youth of the province.

In a statement issued on World Tourism Day in Peshawar, he said the nature has gifted tremendous scenic places to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and there is a dire need to explore it to strengthen the national economy.

Ali Amin Gandapur said the provincial government is working under a comprehensive plan to provide facilities to the foreign and domestic tourists at tourist sites.

The Chief Minister said the government has established tourism police, integrated tourism zones, camping pods and rest areas to attract maximum tourists.
