KP Directly Facing Hazardous Impacts of Climate Change: Kundi

Islamabad: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said the challenges of climate change can only be met with collective will and practical measures. He was addressing the National Youth Climate Conference as the chief guest at a private university in Islamabad today. The Governor highlighted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is directly facing the hazardous impacts of climate change.

According to Radio Pakistan, Kundi emphasized that the conference is a significant step towards preparing youth to play a leadership role in tackling climate change. He stressed the importance of making youth the center of environmental policies and sustainable national development.

Faisal Karim Kundi also called upon local governments, in collaboration with youth organizations, to make the Green Pakistan plan practical and comprehensive. He underscored the need for concrete and actionable measures to turn climate change-related projects into reality.
