KP Government Launches Spring Plantation Drive

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has launched a spring plantation drive to fight deforestation and reduce air pollution.

According to Radio Pakistan, the campaign spans from Chitral to DI Khan and Kohistan to Waziristan, with a goal to plant 2.6 million saplings throughout the province.

The afforestation campaign is also being carried out in all seven tribal districts where elders, farmers, and religious scholars were involved.
