KP Government to Establish Inquiry Commission for Radio Pakistan Building Incident

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has declared the formation of an inquiry commission to investigate the burning of the Radio Pakistan building in Peshawar on 9th May 2023. The decision was made during a cabinet meeting held in Peshawar on Friday.

According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Minister Afridi emphasized that the commission is tasked with producing a comprehensive report following the investigation into the incident. He reiterated his dedication to deploying all necessary resources to ensure peace and security across the province.

During the meeting, Afridi highlighted that any government reforms will be carried out with the input of elected representatives. He also stated that the government will enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy on corruption, ensuring that public funds are not used for personal gains.
