KP Governor Commends Heroic PIMS Nurse Razia Noreen with Cash Prize and Honorary Shield

Islamabad: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi awarded a cash prize of one hundred thousand rupees and an honorary shield to Nurse Razia Noreen of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad. Nurse Noreen was recognized for her bravery in rescuing a child during a tragic fire incident at the PIMS nursery in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, a ceremony was held in Islamabad to honor Nurse Razia Noreen, attended by minority leader Samuel Pyare and Deputy Chief Nursing Officer PIMS, Shazia. Speaking at the event, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa highlighted the importance of compassion in the nursing profession, emphasizing that the entire Pakistani nation pays tribute to Nurse Razia for her courageous and exemplary role.

In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan’s correspondent, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi praised Razia Noreen for her extraordinary courage and dedication in saving the life of an innocent newborn. He stated that her selfless service is a remarkable example of humanity, devotion to duty, and courage that will continue to inspire Pakistan and the world.
