KP Govt Disburses Rs257 Million to Swat Flood Victims

Swat: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has disbursed more than two hundred and fifty-seven million rupees among the people affected by rains and floods in Swat.

According to Radio Pakistan, ninety-nine percent of the surveys assessing damages from the rains and floods have been completed in the area. Efforts are being made to expedite the compensation process, and affected individuals have been provided with shelters, ration packages, and cooked food.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has instructed the relevant authorities to prioritize the rehabilitation and reconstruction of flood-affected infrastructure.
