Peshawar: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an alert about rains and snowfall over hills in most parts of the province till Monday. The alert has been raised in anticipation of adverse weather conditions that may affect various regions.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Authority has advised all the relevant departments to stay alert for restoring road links for traffic in case of closure due to landslides. This measure is crucial to ensure that transportation and communication channels remain open and functional during the predicted weather conditions.
The control room of PDMA is operational round the clock and people can access by dialing 1700 in case of any emergency. This service is intended to provide immediate assistance and information to residents and travelers affected by the weather alert.
