KP’s Natural Fisheries Potential Needs Modern Development: Governor Kundi

Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized that the promotion of fisheries in the province will provide excellent job opportunities and ensure economic prosperity. Speaking to a delegation of the fisheries industry in Peshawar, he highlighted the natural environment for fisheries in the region, which should be developed using modern technology and expert guidance.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Governor welcomed the delegation’s suggestions and assured full support for the sector. He discussed ways to strengthen the fish value chain, increase local production, create employment, and promote exports. Governor Kundi reiterated the province’s potential in fisheries and the importance of harnessing it effectively for economic growth.
