KSrelief Launches Major Humanitarian Effort to Aid Pakistanis with Shelter and Winter Kits

Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has announced the launch of a significant humanitarian project to distribute over eighty-four thousand Shelter Non-Food Items and Winter Kits across Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, a formal launching ceremony was held in Islamabad where Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Said Al-Maliki, and Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre Pakistan Abdullah Al-Baqami, officially dispatched the winter packages.

In the first phase, KSrelief will deliver fifty thousand winter kits to residents of the fifty coldest and snow-bound districts in Pakistan. The remaining thirty-four thousand and five hundred Shelter Non-Food Items will be strategically allocated for disaster response, with distribution planned over three additional phases, set to conclude by December this year.

To ensure transparency and effective implementation, the project will be carried out in close collaboration with key stakeholders, including the National Disaster Management Authority, Provincial Disaster Management Authorities, and local authorities. This joint effort is expected to benefit over five hundred and ninety-one thousand individuals, underscoring KSrelief’s commitment to alleviating hardships and improving the well-being of those in need across Pakistan.
