KSrelief Successfully Completes Large-Scale Winterization Initiative in Pakistan

Islamabad: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully completed its large-scale Winterization Initiative in Pakistan, distributing 22,000 Winter Kits to vulnerable communities across the country under its annual winter support program.

According to Radio Pakistan, under this humanitarian initiative, Winter Kits were distributed among residents of 28 of the coldest and snow-bound districts nationwide. The assistance targeted regions severely affected by harsh winter conditions, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as well as selected areas of Punjab and Sindh experiencing low temperatures during the winter season.

Each Winter Kit included two polyester quilts, warm shawls for men and women, and winter clothing for children and adults, helping families cope with extreme weather conditions and reducing winter-related vulnerabilities.
