Kundi Stresses Need for Exchanging Trade Delegations Between Pakistan and Uzbekistan

Islamabad: Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has emphasized the importance of exchanging trade delegations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan to enhance economic cooperation. He discussed this during a meeting with Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Alisher Tukhtaev, who called on him in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, both officials agreed to explore the extension of the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan railway project through Peshawar, aiming to improve regional connectivity. Furthermore, they discussed the launch of direct flights between Islamabad and Tashkent to facilitate travel and strengthen people-to-people contact.
