Kuwait Applauds Pakistan’s Efforts in Regional Peace Promotion

Kuwait city: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke on telephone with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah today. The two leaders discussed wider implications of the closure of Strait of Hormuz on global economy and expressed hope for a peaceful and durable resolution of ongoing situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar reaffirmed the government’s commitment to pursuing all efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond. The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister appreciated efforts undertaken by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Field Marshal, and the Deputy Prime Minister in promoting dialogue and engagement between the United States and Iran. He also commended Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing regional peace and stability.
