LAC Playing Vital Role in Promoting Arts, Culture in Punjab: Naveen Rooma

Lahore: Director, Alhamra Academy of Performing and Visual Arts, Lahore Naveen Rooma has said that Alhamra Lahore Arts Council is playing an important role for the promotion of arts, culture, literature, music, and performing arts across the province.

According to Radio Pakistan, during an exclusive interview with their Cultural Correspondent Sajjad Parvez, Rooma highlighted that Alhamra Arts Council is currently offering diploma and short courses of various durations. These programs enable children and music enthusiasts to learn to play musical instruments such as the guitar, piano, harmonium, tabla, and violin in an organized manner.

Rooma also mentioned that the country’s renowned dance expert and film star Zareen Panna regularly teaches classical dance to young students. Throughout the year, various cultural events are held, attracting participation from national and international personalities from different fields.
