Lahore establishes Provincial Monitoring Control Room for Upcoming NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan-III Bye-Elections

Lahore: In preparation for the upcoming NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan-III Bye-Elections scheduled for September 12, 2024, a Provincial Monitoring Control Room (PMCR) has been established. This facility has been set up at the office of the Provincial Election Commissioner Punjab in Lahore to ensure the smooth conduct and oversight of the electoral process.

According to Election Commission of Pakistan, the PMCR will operate until the completion of the electoral process. Its main role is to monitor the proceedings and any developments related to the bye-elections in the NA-171 Rahim Yar Khan-III constituency. This initiative is part of efforts to maintain transparency and order during the voting process.

The establishment of the PMCR aims to address and manage any challenges that might arise during the bye-election, ensuring that all procedures are followed correctly and efficiently.
