Lalpir Power Limited Schedules Extraordinary General Meeting for November 14

Karachi: Lalpir Power Limited has announced an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) to be held on November 14, 2024, at Karachi.

The company earlier communicated via a letter dated October 9, 2024, about the upcoming EOGM which has now been scheduled. Details regarding the agenda of the meeting will be disclosed in a subsequent notice, which is expected to be sent to shareholders separately.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the Share Transfer Books of the company will remain closed from November 7 to November 14, 2024. This book closure is to facilitate the physical and electronic transfer of shares in preparation for the meeting. Transactions completed by November 6, including those in the Central Depository System, will be recognized and recorded in time for shareholder participation in the EOGM.

The scheduled meeting and the book closure are significant as they are indicative of important discussions and decisions that could impact the company’s future operations and shareholder interests.
