Lahore: The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has condemned the Israeli attack on Iran, describing it as a grave breach of international norms and a threat to regional and global peace. LCCI leaders called for decisive international action in response to the escalation.
In a statement, LCCI President Mian Abuzar Shad, alongside senior officials, expressed concern over Israel’s military actions. They emphasized the need for the global community to take notice and act. According to the statement, the attack not only violates international law but also poses a dangerous provocation to Middle East stability.
The LCCI officials underscored Iran’s right to defend its sovereignty and urged international bodies like the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to hold Israel accountable. They warned that continued instability could have severe consequences for global trade and economic confidence.
Highlighting the historical ties between Pakistan and Iran, the LCCI expressed solidarity with Iran. They urged Muslim countries to unite and take a firm stance against aggression through diplomatic and economic avenues. The LCCI emphasized that silence in the face of such actions is not an option and called for justice and accountability in international law.
