Leghari Inaugurates Pakistan’s First Fast EV Charging Station

Islamabad: Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari has inaugurated Pakistan’s first fast Electric Vehicles (EV) charging station in the federal capital. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that EVs represent the future of Pakistan and highlighted the government’s commitment to promoting green energy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister announced a significant reduction in the cost of electric charging units, from 71 rupees to 39 rupees. He further assured that electricity rates will continue to decrease, reflecting the government’s dedication to making sustainable transportation more accessible.
