Levies Official Suspended for Misuse of Authority in Turbat, Inquiry Underway

Turbat: A Levies Force officer has been suspended for misuse of authority in Turbat, with an inquiry set to investigate the allegations, as directed by the Deputy Commissioner of Kech. Additionally, a deputy Tehsildar has received a show-cause notice related to the appointment of the suspended official.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Kich Ismail Ibrahim has taken action against Levies officer Abdul Haleem, son of Dad Mohammad, for illegal activities and misuse of his position. Assistant Commissioner Turbat has been appointed to lead the inquiry committee to conduct a transparent investigation into Haleem’s actions. The committee has been instructed to report back to the Deputy Commissioner within a week.

In a separate but related directive, the Deputy Commissioner has also issued a show-cause notice to the Deputy Tehsildar, who has been asked to submit a written response within three days concerning the circumstances of the said Levies official’s appointment.

The actions taken by the Deputy Commissioner highlight the local government’s commitment to maintaining accountability and transparency within its ranks.
