Locals in Saghar Village of Talagang Build Memorial to Honour Martyrs

Saghar: A unique tribute was paid to the martyrs of Pakistan as locals in Saghar village of Talagang built a memorial with their own collective efforts. In this regard, a grand and patriotic ceremony was organized at the memorial, where a large number of people, including local dignitaries and residents from various walks of life, participated with great zeal.

According to Radio Pakistan, the participants paid glowing tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the defense of the motherland. Saghar village is widely known as the land of martyrs and Ghazis. A total of 30 brave sons of this village embraced martyrdom, including 25 from the Pakistan Army and 5 from the Pakistan Air Force.

In addition, the pride of Saghar is its 766 Ghazis, who have served the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy at different times with honour and dedication. During the ceremony, honorary shields were presented to the families of the martyrs, acknowledging their loved ones’ great sacrifices.

The ceremony reaffirmed that the sacrifices of the martyrs remain eternal, and their courage continues to inspire generations across the nation.
