Magsi Calls for Engineering-Led Sustainable Development

Bhurban: Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi has called upon the engineering fraternity to spearhead Pakistan’s journey toward technological advancement, innovation, and sustainable development.

According to Radio Pakistan, in his keynote address at the inauguration of the fifty-first Governing Body meeting of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Magsi emphasized the importance of innovation and emerging technologies in shaping Pakistan’s future. He highlighted the need for revising engineering curricula to align with evolving industrial demands and to incorporate technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and the Internet of Things.

Magsi also announced that new initiatives are underway to increase internship and certification opportunities for youth in both public and private sectors. He expressed hope that these efforts would empower young engineers to contribute effectively to the nation’s development and progress.
