Islamabad: Mainly hot and dry weather is likely to prevail in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
According to Radio Pakistan, the morning temperatures recorded in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at twenty-two degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-six, Karachi at twenty-seven, Peshawar at twenty-four, Quetta at sixteen, and both Gilgit and Murree at fourteen degrees centigrade. Muzaffarabad recorded a temperature of twenty-one degrees centigrade.
The weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir suggests partly cloudy and dry conditions in areas such as Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula, with dry weather expected in Leh. The morning temperatures recorded in these areas were: Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at fourteen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at four, and Pulwama and Baramula at thirteen degrees centigrade.
