The Strategic Political and Defence Committee, created under the agreement, is set to hold an important meeting. Key figures such as Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir will join their Saudi and Turkish counterparts to develop a joint strategy focused on Saudi security and addressing concerns with Yemeni Houthis. The committee will also work on reducing reliance on foreign powers for the region’s security.
This initiative has generated high expectations among Saudi and Turkish stakeholders.
