Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim Set for Official Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for a three-day official visit, from Wednesday to Friday, aimed at bolstering bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Ibrahim’s visit comes at the invitation of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. Accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials, the Malaysian leader will engage in discussions with his Pakistani counterpart.

The talks are set to cover a comprehensive agenda designed to enhance cooperation across various sectors, including trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts. Additionally, the leaders will exchange views on regional and global issues, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia is rooted in shared history, culture, and faith. This visit is anticipated to further deepen the ties and foster mutual growth and cooperation.
