Malaysian Prime Minister Awarded Nishan-i-Pakistan by President Zardari

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari awarded the prestigious Nishan-i-Pakistan to Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim in a special investiture ceremony held in Islamabad on Thursday. The award, Pakistan’s highest civilian honor, recognizes Anwar Ibrahim’s contributions to strengthening bilateral ties and his support for Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, federal ministers, lawmakers, and military chiefs. The event underscored the strong relationship between Pakistan and Malaysia. Following the ceremony, President Zardari hosted a state banquet in honor of the visiting Malaysian Prime Minister and his delegation.
