Malaysian Prime Minister Set for Official Visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow for an official visit from Wednesday to Friday, at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The visit aims to deepen bilateral ties between the two countries across multiple sectors.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Malaysian leader will be accompanied by a high-level delegation that includes ministers, deputy ministers, and senior officials. During his stay, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will engage in discussions with his Pakistani counterpart to explore avenues for enhanced cooperation in trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people contacts.

The talks will also encompass regional and global developments, underscoring the strong historical, cultural, and faith-based connections between Pakistan and Malaysia. This visit marks a significant step in further solidifying the relationship between the two nations.
