Man Dies After Falling from Tree in Budgam District

Srinagar: A man from Budgam district died following a fall from a walnut tree in the Khag area. The incident led to severe injuries, and despite immediate medical attention, the man was declared dead upon arrival at JVC Bemina hospital.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the man was identified as 45-year-old Abdul Hameed Sheikh, son of Abdul Rahman, residing in Malik Mohalla Khag. After falling from the tree, Sheikh sustained serious injuries and was initially taken to a nearby hospital. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was subsequently referred to JVC Bemina for advanced treatment.

However, upon arrival, the medical professionals at JVC Bemina pronounced him dead. Following the incident, local police have initiated an investigation and registered a case to explore further details surrounding the circumstances of the fall.
