Marco Rubio Lauds Pakistan’s Efforts for Regional Peace

Pakistan: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a bilateral meeting today with the U.S. Secretary of State, Marco Rubio in Washington D.C. During the meeting, the two leaders expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in the Pak-U.S. bilateral relations and exchanged views on the evolving regional and global situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Marco Rubio acknowledged Pakistan’s sincere diplomatic and mediatory efforts for peace and stability in the region and beyond. The two sides agreed to strengthen the bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, security, and counter-terrorism.

They also agreed to advance the Pak-U.S. partnership, propelled by high-level exchanges and shared interests in regional peace, security, and prosperity.
