Mari Petroleum Executives Report Share Transactions

Islamabad: Mari Petroleum Company Limited has announced that two of its executives have recently engaged in share transactions, involving a total of 2,000 shares at approximate values of 458.17 and 459.45 respectively.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), on September 19, 2024, Muhammad Sana ul Hussnain, an executive at the company, purchased 1,000 shares at a rate of 458.17 each. Similarly, on September 18, 2024, Syed Rizwan Ali, another executive, bought 1,000 shares at 459.45 each. Both transactions were conducted through the Central Depository Company (CDC) and were classified under the ‘Ready’ market category.

The company confirmed that these transactions would be presented for review at the next board meeting, in compliance with clause 5.6.4 of PSX Regulations. Additionally, Mari Petroleum stated that if the holding period for these transactions is less than six months, any profits will be surrendered to the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), as mandated by Section 105 of the Securities Act, 2015, with due notification to the PSX.
