Maryam Nawaz Sharif Aims to Transform Punjab into Trade Hub

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif expressed her commitment to establishing Punjab as a center of trade and industry during a meeting with the Chain Store Association Pakistan. The meeting resulted in the decision to organize a ‘Shopping Festival’ in the province, with Lahore hosting the inaugural event.

According to Chief Minister of Punjab, Sharif emphasized the necessity of business-friendly policies to enhance economic activities in the region. She assured the business community that actionable suggestions would be implemented to facilitate business growth. Sharif also announced plans to introduce an annual calendar for store working hours across Punjab.

In addition to economic initiatives, Sharif revealed plans to revive the Horse and Cattle Show in Lahore, aiming to present it in a new format. The Chief Minister, identifying herself as a supporter of local brands, underlined her intent to collaborate closely with the business community to achieve these goals.
