Massive Fire Destroys Over 70 Homes in Kishtwar

Jammu: A devastating fire in the Kishtwar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir has resulted in the destruction of more than 70 houses, leaving many residents without shelter. The blaze, which originated in a single residence, rapidly spread through the Marwah area, engulfing neighboring homes in the process.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the remote location of Marwah, compounded by the absence of road access, has significantly hampered firefighting efforts. Despite these challenges, senior officials and local community members have joined forces at the site to battle the ongoing inferno.

As efforts to contain the fire continue, there have been no reports of casualties or injuries. Local authorities and emergency services are working under difficult conditions to control the situation and prevent further damage.
