Mayor of Karachi Pledges Enhanced Municipal Services for District Malir Court

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has committed to addressing the municipal challenges faced by the District Malir Court, promising the provision of an ambulance and a fire brigade tender along with improved sanitation services.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, this announcement was made during a meeting with a delegation from the District Court Malir Bar, led by Irshad Shar.

Mayor Wahab, who has a background in law, assured the delegation that their issues would be prioritized. He emphasized the crucial role of lawyers in delivering justice and aiding victims. The meeting, held in the mayor’s office, was attended by KMC Council Parliamentary Leader Karamullah Waqasi, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Dil Muhammad, and other officials.

During the discussions, Mayor Wahab highlighted the importance of maintaining law and order and ensuring peaceful elections. He urged young lawyers to diligently pursue their profession to uphold justice and emphasized the necessity of staying informed about current laws and regulations. He also stressed the importance of seeking guidance from experienced lawyers to achieve success and respect in the field.

The mayor also reiterated the commitment of the current leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and elected representatives to work towards resolving citizens’ issues promptly. He advocated for a collaborative approach with all stakeholders and civic bodies to foster Karachi’s development and urged society to support local bodies in making Karachi a vibrant city.
